Hi Steve,
My name is Liz and I’ve been listening to your outward buzz for about 2 month’s now. A little about me, I was raised a Christian sense birth, but turned away from God in my late teen’s, but returned “home” to the Lord in May 2005. I surrendered and gave my whole life to the Lord, started volunteering in our Sunday School at my Church and quickly realized this was my passion (my calling), to be in Children’s Ministry/ Youth Ministry. My Pastor saw the passion God had placed in my heart and asked me to be the Children’s Ministry Director for our church. I was scared but new the Lord was calling me to this ministry. It was official in June of this year. I started searching the Internet to learn as much as I could about Leadership/ Children’s Ministry. This is how I found your website. Thank you for what you do, you have given me great tips on growing our Children’s Ministry and on being a Servant Leader that I have implemented.
When you asked us what we would like to hear you talk about, I wanted to first let you know that you are impacting not only business men/woman in a awesome way …but also little me, a inexperienced Children’s Ministry Director who is solely relying on God for direction for this small Church in South Orange County, and secondly to ask you if you could talk about Impacting today’s kids. What are some practical ways I as a youth leader, can compete with MySpace and MTV? Without spending major bucks?
I realize this may not interest a lot of your viewers, but these kids are our future, I think it would be beneficial to all adults in leadership to be able to iknow how to nteract with kids/ youth in a positive way. Don’t you?
Thanks again and God Bless,
Liz Enciso
