Outward Focus: Bringing God Into Our Planning

On today’s podcast Steve talks about bringing the "vertical" into our "horizontal" planning by including God in the process. He references Solomon’s Proverbs and Jesus’ statement that He only did what He saw the Father doing (John 5) to emphasize the importance of being sensitive to divine guidance. Steve encourages us to slow down the metronome of our lives from 120 to 20 beats per minute so that we can hear God’s purposes and then joining those purposes in prayer.
