Hey there Steve
I just listened to your word on networking and I thought it was a very good straight forward talk.
I was just wondering how to give someone I know
a word on making a more focused reasoning behind the good things he does. This person was not brought in church and he does good things for people because he thinks if he does'nt bad things are going to happen to him. Send me your thoughts if you have time to, I know you are very busy. I keep you and Janie and your family in my prayers.
I may be in need of a prayer too. I might be needing surgery I don't know yet. Take Care, hope to see you again here at Cincy. Diana Thompson

Hi Steve,

Great post today. I think that if folks feel that you're just using them for something, they are quickly turned off. Care is key and that age-old phrase rings true: people don't care about how much you know until they know how much you care.

Thank you for your reminder not to judge. While I wasn't saying anything about Mrs. Smith, I thought about how tragic her live had been and how sad it was that she was lost forever. And I needed to be reminded that I don't know what decisions she made even in her last moments. My prayers are for her little girl that God will place someone in her life that will show her how much he loves her.

appreciate the transparency on this one steve....especially coming from a former "teaching environment" that was very reticent to medical help for folks that were struggling with different depression issues, etc.

really liked your sharing on brokenness as well.

peace and good,
