Is "Audio In" the same as "Headphone Jack" on an HDTV?
Is it the same 3.55mm standard jack to connect headphones and such into?
I'd like to be sure before purchasing a new tv (this one: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/tv-video/televisions/lcd-tv/LN32C540F2DXZA/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=support)
-Thanks in advance!
Link doesn't seem to work. Its a:
Samsung 32" LCD HDTV LN32C540
I looked at the manual for that TV on the Samsung website. I don't see a traditional 1/8" or 1/4" headphone jack.
An "Audio In" usually is for connecting things like DVD players, VCRs, etc, for Input to the TV. You need an "Audio Out" for headphones or an amplifier for external speakers. There looks to be one on this TV. You might need a mono RCA jack to headphone jack adapter. (hard to tell from the manual's pictures)
